Sale conditions 2025

The seeds are sold by the "Azienda Agricola Santa Teresa" - Via della Muratella snc - 00040 - Ardea (RM) PIVA 13831521003 RUOP IT-12-1682 authorization to issue the plant passport at the company center code RM01, created to support the non-profit cultural association "Cercatori di Semi Terranatura" by providing land and means for cultivation.

 

Approval of sale conditions

At the moment of placing the order the conditions of sale are considered to be fully accepted by the customer.

 

Ordini

Purchase order is considered closed upon confirmation. It is possible to change or cancel an order only before the shipment by sending an email to ordini@agricolasantateresa.it  or calling to +3906633910 Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 13.00 and 14.00 to 17.00.

Shipping risks 

The Azienda Agricola Santa Teresa is not responsible for any inconvenience caused by insufficient/incorrect information about the consignee data, however after 10 days from the order, if you haven’t received anything, please contact us, we will manage the eventual exceptions.

In order to avoid any problem between both parties, please check the package at the courier's arrival, as  the seeds travel well packaged and protected, if you notice holes o something broken on the packaging, notify it  immediately to the courier. 

For any doubt or question, please feel free to get in contact with us, even if by law we are not obligued to provide any refund, we will do the possible to ship your order again since we are aware how important it it is for those who purchase our seeds.

 

Seeds Warranties

All our seeds are non-GM and non-hybrid F1.

Seeds from some varieties (very few) come from other cultivations, but the most part are grown and produced in our farm in  Via Muratella SNc- 00040 Ardea (Rm). Other seeds are of ancient local varieties whose traces have sometimes been lost, ergo can be named with names given by the producers as without a known and correct scientific name.

The packaging operation is controlled through several steps, human error is still possible, it is therefore possible that sometimes some seeds are delivered in place of others. In this case we will try to replace the product with the correct one either with a second spediton or a discount bonus. 

 

In conclusion, we cannot provide a guarantee on the seeds placed on the market, but we will be happy to listen to you and find a solution to the problem as far as possible.

We pay particular attention to ancient Italian seeds, because the aim is to keep alive the genetics of these which are being lost due to lack of generational change or other factors such as the increasingly massive presence of ready seedlings of F1 hybrids.

Germination 

Seed germination depends on several factors, such as humidity temperature, substrate. We do not assume responsibility for non-germinated seeds, the minimum germination of each batch is at least 85% and often a failure to germinate depends on human factors. However, it should be remembered that our aim is to safeguard the varieties, it will therefore be our responsibility to listen to you and find a solution together (most times we resend the seeds even if they are lost due to a mistake by the customer), you will also find free guides to download in the appropriate section of the site Free Practical Guides

 

Out of stock products

In case of non disponibility of one or more varieties, we reserve the right to not ship the order. 

When possible , according with the necessities of the customer,  we will  replace the variety with similar specs.

 

Right of Withadrawal

The rights of the Customer are protected by Legislative Decree 206/2005 as amended The Customer has, therefore, the right to withdraw from the contract, even partially, without explanation and without additional costs, provided that the withdrawal is communicated by registered A/R to Azienda Agricola Santa Teresa di Pietro Segatta - Via della Muratella snc - 00040 Ardea (Rm) within 14 working days from the day of receipt of the products.

The communication can be anticipated, within the same term, by e-mail (ordini@agricolasantateresa.it ), on condition that it is confirmed by registered letter with return receipt within the following 48 hours. This communication must specify at will to withdraw from the purchase and the product or products for which it intends to exercise the right of withdrawal, attaching a copy of the transport document. The Customer must then return the product to Azienda Agricola Santa Teresa di Pietro Segatta - Via della Muratella snc - 00040 Ardea (Rm)

If the withdrawal has been exercised in accordance with the procedure described, the cultural association Cercatori di Semi will refund the sum paid for the purchase of the product within 14 days from the date on which the cultural association Cercatori di Semi became aware of the exercise of the right of withdrawal by the Customer. The amount repaid will not include customs/shipping costs.

For purchases made by bank transfer the refund  will be done by bank transfer.

For purchases placed via PayPal the refund will be made on the customer's PayPal account.

For purchases placed with credit card trough the provider STRIPE (one of the most known and secure in the world) the refund will be places through the same platform, the times of the transfer change based on the clients circuit, from 3 to 10 business day. 

​In the event that the withdrawal is partial, the delivery costs will be refund to the customer in proportion to the value of the

returned goods.

​

The Customer will be responsible for the decrease in value of the returned good resulting from a handling other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the asset. Without prejudice to the above, the right of withdrawal is not permitted in the case of:

  • - purchase of sealed packaged products opened by the Customer;  of goods which by their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (plants or bulbs).

Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to Legislative Decree 196/2003

The Azienda Agricola Santa Teresa pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 ("Code regarding the protection of personal data"), proceeds to the processing of data supplied by you in compliance with the regulations in force and according to

the following is reported

 

  • The personal information you provide is collected in compliance with the obligations and guarantees of the laws, contracts and regulations. The data is processed on paper and / or electronically, also with the aid of electronic means, directly and / or through delegated third parties (the mailing and for the purposes connected to the execution of the service and to the management of the order) of purchasing products online), according to logic strictly related to the aforementioned purposes and, in any case, in order to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data.

  • In any case, your personal data will not be sold and / or communicated, except to delegated third parties (mailing companies)

  • As interested, pursuant to art. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, you have the right at any time to obtain from the Data Processor: confirmation of the existence of the data and communication of the same; updating, rectification, integration, cancellation, transformation; blocking of data processed in violation of the law. You may also object to the processing of the same.

  • The person to process the data is Pietro Segatta president of the association non-profig Cercatori di Semi.
