Chinese Spinach Amaranth (Amaranthus tricolor): splendid leaf amaranth grown in different parts of the world, from the Americas to Asia.
 Extremely easy to cultivate and fast growing, it is ready  a month after sowing, when it has reached one meter in height and  the beautiful leaves will be ready for consumption, the texture and taste are reminiscent of spinach, hence the name. You can also consume the seeds, which will be ready about 100 days after the transplant or sprouting. It produces large quantities of small seeds and have an important capacity for self-seeding.
 This species is macrothermal, it must be planted or sown when temperatures are steadily above 16°C.
 We recommend scalated sowing in seedbed.
 The seeds are many, about 800 and so you will have a massive production until late October and further in the south: allow some of the first plants to keep going so that they produce seeds for the following year.Amaranth is an exceptional plant, do not miss it.
